What you need
Step 1
Battery
- Pull the piece marked “HOOD” out in the direction of the arrow to release the hood lock at the front of the vehicle.

Step 2
- Pull the yellow hood latch left to unlock the latch holding the hood of the car in place.
- Lift the hood up to reveal the battery.

- Disconnect the negative power connection (black) with a 3/8" ratchet and a 1/2" socket.
Disconnect the negative power connection (black) with a 3/8" ratchet and a 1/2" socket.
Step 4
- Disconnect the positive power connection (red) with a 3/8" ratchet and a 1/2" socket.
Disconnect the positive power connection (red) with a 3/8" ratchet and a 1/2" socket.
Step 5
- Pull the battery up and remove it from the vehicle.
- Place the new battery in the same battery holder area that you just removed the old battery from.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
