What you need
Step 1
Coolant
- Turn off the car and pull the latch to release the hood.

- Pull the hood release upwards to open the hood and use the prop rod to keep it open.

- Locate the coolant container behind the passenger side headlight.

- Check the fluid level is in between the max and the min mark on the coolant container. If it is at the max, proceed to step 7.
- If the fluid level is below the max, you need to fill it up, continue to step 4.
- If the coolant tank is empty, continue to step 4
- Hot coolant is pressurized, make sure the vehicle is turned off for 15 minutes.
Check the fluid level is in between the max and the min mark on the coolant container. If it is at the max, proceed to step 7.
If the fluid level is below the max, you need to fill it up, continue to step 4.

- Loosen the coolant cap a little, then step back while the pressure releases. Now, completely remove the coolant cap.
- Wait for any built-in pressure to release before completely removing the cap, pressurized coolant is hot and can scald.
- Place a funnel on top of the coolant container opening

- Use caution while handling coolant fluid. The product is flammable.
- Pour the Prestone coolant liquid into the container until the liquid reaches the “max” line.
- If you have a funnel. Place the funnel into the top of the container.
- Pour the coolant liquid into the funnel until the liquid reaches the “max” line.

- Firmly place the cap back onto the container.

- Place the cap back onto the container.
