What you need

Step 1

              Passenger side window regulator (power windows)               
  • First locate the 4 screws to remove the door panel. See pic1
  • 2 screws are visible.
  • The other 2 screws are behind items.
  • Location of the screws.
  • First screw is under the door lock/window controls. See pic 2.
  • Next screw located lower right of panel behind reflector. See pic 3
  • To remove the door/window controls pry on one end of the controls and lift up. See pic 2.
  • To remove the reflector pry one side and remove from the panel. See pic 3.

First locate the 4 screws to remove the door panel. See pic1

2 screws are visible.

The other 2 screws are behind items.

To remove the door/window controls pry on one end of the controls and lift up. See pic 2.

To remove the reflector pry one side and remove from the panel. See pic 3.

Step 2

              Removing panel from door.               
  • Before removing panel, remove small tweeter speaker from top of door panel.. Clipped in just pull the top. Pic 1
  • After removing screws, Pull on the panel around the outside to release the pop-in clips.
  • Then remove the panel from the door by lifting up and backward on the panel. Pic 2
  • Be mindful of the rail on top of the panel that may or may not fall off the panel.
  • Also make sure you remove any wires that is connected to the door panel. Lock controls, tweeter speaker wires.

Before removing panel, remove small tweeter speaker from top of door panel.. Clipped in just pull the top. Pic 1

After removing screws, Pull on the panel around the outside to release the pop-in clips.

Then remove the panel from the door by lifting up and backward on the panel. Pic 2

Be mindful of the rail on top of the panel that may or may not fall off the panel.

Also make sure you remove any wires that is connected to the door panel. Lock controls, tweeter speaker wires.

Step 3

  • On the bottom of the glass inside the door there are two bolts that hold the window to the plastic track on the regulator.
  • Before you remove the second screw hold the window to prevent breakage of the window.
  • While holding the window remove the second screw and lift out the window from the door.
  • Locate and loosen the 4 bolts holding the regulator. See pic 1.
  • Then remove the window regulator motor and all of the track from the door…

While holding the window remove the second screw and lift out the window from the door.

Step 4

  • Then replace the regulator and reverse the procedure to install the regulator back in the door.

Then replace the regulator and reverse the procedure to install the regulator back in the door.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
