- Tilt the wiper upwards.
- Pull the wiper blade down to release it from the j-hook.
- Different brands of wipers use different unlatching mechanisms; these vary from pinching and pulling to pushing a button.

- Lay the arm back down onto the windshield.
- Place the arm gently back down to avoid any damage.

- Remove the plastic protection from the rubber side of the new wiper blades.

- Lift the wiper arm back up and latch the j-hook around the mounting point of the new blade.

- Gently lay the wipers back down onto windshield.

- Start your vehicle.
- Turn on the windshield wipers to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Do not turn the engine on in a closed space to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning.
