Heater Blower Motor

- Identify location in upper left under the hood facing front and remove the fastener bolts should be five little bolts around the housing

Preparation
- After locating the five screws,be sure to undo the clip that powers the fan motor. Can located by following the wiring harness that connects to the blower motor. Then follow through with unfastening the outer blower motor plate.

Step 3
Removal
- After removing the five screws and unfastening the wiring harness, remove the back plate of the motor and remove the blower motor (fan is attached as one part) by slipping it out and rotating it if needed to remove the motor.

Step 4
Replacement
- Slide the new or refurbished blower motor back into place by rotating the part and make sure it is aligned and snug and place the back plate and screws and finishing with reconnecting the wiring harness.
- A minimum of 4 of the five screws are needed to ensure the fan is secure and doesn’t wobble or become unaligned so that the proper spacing is kept and the fan doesn’t shatter.
- Double check by starting the ignition, and turning on the heat and fan. You should have a good amount of air blowing through your vents in the vehicle. Job well done.
