- Turn off the vehicle by removing the keys from the ignition.
- Open the back trunk door.

- Use the 10 mm wrench to remove the two screws on the back panel.

- Gently, but firmly push the assembly to loosen the plastic alignment pins.

- Remove the taillight socket from the taillight assembly by rotating it counterclockwise and lifting the socket out.

- Remove the defective light bulb from the socket by pulling up on the socket.

- Insert the new light bulb into the same socket.

- Test the light bulb by turning the headlights of the car on. If it lights up, it properly works.

- Once the flanges are lined up, press in the socket and turn clockwise to lock in place.
