Introduction
To begin this guide, all that is needed is a towel or piece of cloth, a measuring tape, and new windshield wipers. Don’t know what windshield wipers to get ? Don’t worry, in this guide I’ve included some steps to help you choose your new windshield wipers.
Before beginning, power off the ignition and engage the parking brake.

Windshield Wiper
- Use the tape measure to measure the length of the wiper blades from top to bottom.
- This will help you determine the correct size of replacement wipers that you will need.

Step 2
- Lift the windshield wiper off the windshield.
- Place a towel underneath the wiper to prevent damage to the windshield if the wiper is dropped.
- Avoid lifting the windshield wiper too far back; doing so can cause damage to what helps the wiper stay against the windshield.

Step 3
- Lift open the clip above the wiper with one hand while holding the wiper arm up with the other.
- Opening this clip will allow us to slide the wiper off for the next step.

Step 4
- Grab the wiper with one hand while holding the wiper arm up with the other.
- Slide the wiper down.
- Once unhooked, pull the wiper back and away from the wiper arm to remove the wiper.

Step 5
- Place the replacement wiper against the wiper arm with the hooking mechanism facing the hook of the wiper arm.
- Slide the wiper up, thus putting it into place.

Step 6
- Once the wiper is slid up all the way, grab the top clip of the wiper.
- Close the clip until a click is heard.
- Remove the towel and lower the wiper arm down gently.

Follow these instructions for the second windshield wiper.
