Introduction
Side view mirrors are mirrors on the exterior of the vehicle. They are designed to assist the driver’s view of what is behind or beside their vehicle. When damaged, the mirror’s reflective surface can be distorted and may no longer adjust properly.
In step 4 of this guide, you will be loosening the three 10mm bolts to remove the passenger side mirror. The three bolts are keeping the side mirror mounted to the car, so make sure you have a firm grip on the side mirror before loosening them. If the side mirror is dropped the glass may shatter or the car may get scratched. Use the same caution on step 6 when you mount the replacement side mirror.
