Introduction

Step 1

              Air Filter               
  • Begin by opening the hood of the vehicle and locating the air filter cover.
  • The air filter is located in the middle of the front of the vehicle covered by a large black rectangular cover.

Step 2

  • Locate the two tabs on either side of the front of the air filter cover. Grab and pop open these two tabs.
  • Push the air filter cover open with your fingers. The air filter will now be visible and begin to pop up.
  • Once the air filter pops up, you can grab it with your hands and begin to remove it from the cover that is still being held open.

Step 3

  • Gently pull the entire air filter out of the opened cover. This might take more than one set of hands in order to keep the cover open during removal.
  • The air filter is now fully removed and outside of the air filter cover. Obtain a new air filter to replace the old one.

Step 4

  • Pry apart the cover of the air filter again to begin inserting your new air filter.
  • Gently push the new air filter back into the opened air filter cover the same way you removed it. The air filter will fall back into its resting position.
  • Once the new air filter has been fully inserted into the cover, close the cover and push the two tabs on the outside of the cover closed.
