What you need
Step 1
Battery
- Pull up the lever underneath the steering wheel to pop up the hood.
- Unlatch the hood.
- The battery should be located on the lower right side of engine.

Step 2
- Use a wrench with a 10 mm socket to remove the bolts of the bracket.
- Repeat the step above for the second bolt.

Repeat the step above for the second bolt.

- Remove the metal rod on top of the battery.
- The second and third pictures were taken without the battery for a better view of the rod.

- Remove the bolts on the clamps with a 10 mm socket.
- Repeat the process on the second terminal of the battery.

Step 5
- Carefully remove the clamps from the terminal.
- Sometimes clamps are stuck in place due to corrosion or battery leak. Use caution while removing it.

- Carefully remove the battery from the engine.
- Do not tilt the battery while removing it.

- Insert the new battery in the engine.
- Place the metal rod back in place.

- Place the bracket back on top of the battery.
- Use a wrench with a 10 mm socket to secure the bolts of the bracket.
- Repeat the above step for the second bolt.

Step 9
- Put the terminal back on.
- Put the bolts on the clamps back on with a 10 mm socket.
- Repeat the previous step for the second bolt.
Put the terminal back on.
Put the bolts on the clamps back on with a 10 mm socket.
Repeat the previous step for the second bolt.
You have successfully changed the battery of Lexus 330 RX 200. Good Job!
