Introduction

This guide provides all the necessary steps for anyone looking to perform this particular fix or something similar.

NOTE: Do not perform the procedure with the bike on.

What you need

Step 1

              Headlight Bulb               
  • Turn off the bike before beginning.
  • Remove the bike seat by grabbing both ends and pulling the seat toward the rear wheel.
  • Locate the screw on the battery.

  • Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the single screw, disconnecting the power to the battery.

  • Pull the bulb’s plug directly out of its port.

  • Remove the outer rubber boot by pulling it towards yourself.

  • While pushing down on the silver pin, pull the bulb directly out of its socket without turning.

Step 6

  • Wear latex or nitrile gloves when handling the new bulb.
  • Insert the new bulb into the empty socket and secure it by gently pushing it into place until properly seated.

Step 7

  • Repeat the steps in reverse order to reassemble the bike, and turn it on to check if the headlight works.
