Introduction

The wiper blades on your vehicle are an extremely important piece of safety equipment used to maintain visibility. For this reason use this guide to replace your wiper blades, so that they function properly. For this guide it is important that you use the correct size of wiper blade, the drivers side blade is 22” and the passengers side blade is 17”.

Choosing the right wiper blade is also very important, if you get a bad product it could lead to premature wear and failure. In order to help with this I found a very informative and non-biased video to help you in choosing the correct wiper blade.

Step 1

              Windshield Wiper               
  • Lift up on the drivers side windshield wiper.
  • The wiper blade should stay in its upright position while you work.

Step 2

  • Rotate the wiper blade 180 degrees so that it is parallel with the windshield.

  • Push down on the middle of the wiper blade until you hear/feel a click.

Step 4

  • Rotate the wiper blade back to its original position.
  • Pull down on the blade until it detaches from the wiper arm.

Step 5

  • Slide the new wiper blade onto the wiper arm in the same position that you removed the old blade.
  • Slide with moderate pressure until you hear a click.

Step 6

  • Hold the wiper blade against the arm to gently lay the arm down without damaging the new wiper blade.

Step 7

  • Repeat steps 1-6 for the passenger side windshield wiper.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
