Introduction

NOTE: The directions in the guide refer to the view from the back of the motorbike.

Left = The side opposite the tail pipe

Right = The side with the tail pipe

What you need

Step 1

              Remove outer casing               
  • Remove the plastic covering, located on the left side of the bike, by pulling the piece straight off the bike.

              Open toolbox               
  • The tool box is located under the panel.
  • Using the key to the motorbike, unlock the tool box.
  • Remove the plastic bag inside holding the tools needed for basic maintenance for the motorbike.

Step 3

              Unscrew the seat               
  • Using the allen wrench, remove the screws on both sides of the bike seat.

Step 4

              Remove the seat               
  • Pull the rear of the seat upwards.
  • Pull the seat backwards to remove it from the bike.

Step 5

              Remove plastic covering               
  • Using the screwdriver, remove the screw holding the plastic cover.

Using the screwdriver, remove the screw holding the plastic cover.

Step 6

              Remove the fusebox               
  • Pull the cover off the battery and remove the fuse box from the cover.
  • Place the fuse box over to the side right of the bike. Do not disconnect the wires.

Pull the cover off the battery and remove the fuse box from the cover.

Place the fuse box over to the side right of the bike. Do not disconnect the wires.

Step 7

              Detach the ground wire               
  • Using the screwdriver, remove the ground wire (negative (-) cable) from the battery.
  • Place the wire over the left side of the bike.

Using the screwdriver, remove the ground wire (negative (-) cable) from the battery.

Place the wire over the left side of the bike.

Step 8

              Detach the power cable               
  • Also using the screwdriver, remove the positive (+) cable from the battery.
  • Place the wire over the right side of the bike.
  • Do not let the red(+) and black(-) wires touch

Also using the screwdriver, remove the positive (+) cable from the battery.

Place the wire over the right side of the bike.

Do not let the red(+) and black(-) wires touch

Step 9

              Remove the battery               
  • Remove the battery from the bike by pulling upwards.

Remove the battery from the bike by pulling upwards.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
