When you open the hatch, you have to hold it to keep it open.
Upon observation, the gas chamber (thicker and darker colored part of lift) has busted open. This is likely due to a rusting issue.
The hatch supports have a potential to fail due to rust or excessive wear. Check that the gas chamber, which is the larger diameter portion of the shock mechanism, is not burst open. Also check the entire support for rust. If the gas chamber has burst or if the support has rusted significantly, your hatch lift support will likely need to be replaced. Upon pushing the designated steering wheel handle to initiate the rear windshield washer fluid, the fluid sprays backwards.
Upon observation, if the bolt at the wiper arm joint is exposed, the nozzle and cap are missing. This can occur when debris buildups and becomes clogged in the nozzle. This can cause the entire cap to pop off. The cap can also break off of the car if it is hit or damaged by another object. If the nozzle and cap on the rear windshield is not there, you must replace the nozzle and cap (see here).
Upon pushing the unlock button on your key fob, your car doors do not unlock.
If you store your keys near your phone or around other strong magnets, the connection between your car and your keys can be lost. Sometimes, if you store your keys in a damp area, the battery can be damaged. If you believe the battery has been damaged and the key fob still does not unlock the car, the battery in the fob has died. You need to purchase a new battery for your key fob and replace this with the dead battery. For instructions, (see here).

If your front lights are on, but your license plate lights are flickering or not on at all.
The light bulb may be out of place causing the electrical connection to fail. Return the light bulb to the correct position to return the light to working condition.
If the light bulbs are in the correct position but still do not turn on, the bulbs have burnt out or will be soon. You need to replace the light bulbs, for instructions (see here).
Windshield wipers do not provide clear vision. They are skipping, smearing, making scratching sounds or the blade is pealing.
Wiper blades can get worn down easily if left out in the heat for a long time. When this happens, the rubber can wear down and crack. Also, over time, rubber will naturally breakdown after exposure to adverse weather. If either of these have occurred and if wiping your windshield produces unusual noises like skipping, screeching or smacking, you need to replace your wiper blades ([invalid guide link]).
