Introduction

Installing bright LED lights will always be popular. This modification plainly makes your vehicle look better. Apart from looking fantastic, your lighting range during night rides changes tremendously. This is a great benefit so the driver can see very clearly at night and avoid hitting things on the road.

What you need

Step 1

              Fog Lights               
  • Pull the hood latch that is located beneath the steering column.

  • Push the lever to the left to unlatch the hood of the truck.

  • Using the ratchet and 10mm socket, disconnect the negative battery terminal by turning counterclockwise.
  • This is done to make sure you do not get shortages.

  • Disconnect the lighting harness.
  • Do not remove the bulb since the new fog lamp comes with integrated LED bulbs.

Step 5

  • Using the ratchet, extension, and the 10 mm socket unscrew the three 10 mm bolts to let the mounting plate free.

  • Push the tabs inward and pull the mounting bracket towards you to separate the bracket from the fog lamp.

  • Grab the new fog lamp and insert the three clips into the three holes of the mounting bracket.

  • Align the three screw holes on the mounting bracket with the holes on the bumper.

Step 9

  • Screw on the three 10 mm bolts in the holes.
  • Tighten the bolts by hand first.
  • Tighten the bolts using the 10 mm socket and ratchet.

  • Reconnect the lighting harness back up to get a power source.

  • Make sure the fog lamp is where it is desired and in place.

  • Reconnect the negative battery terminal.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
