Step 1
              Air Filter               
- The air filter housing is located under the hood of the BMW.

- Remove two bolts from the housing of the car using a 10mm socket bit and wrench.

Step 3
- Unscrew the screw on the air intake hose clamp using a flathead screwdriver.
- Unclip the mass air intake sensor from the housing using a flathead screwdriver and pushing up on the tab while also pulling out the sensor.

Step 4
- Remove the air intake duct by using a flathead screwdriver and prying them apart.

- Take out the air filter housing on a flat surface.

- Use a T25 torx screwdriver to unscrew the 6 screws holding the air filter housing together.

Step 7
- Remove the old, yellow air filter pictured on the left using your hands and dispose of it into the garbage.

Step 8
- Insert new air filter into its housing and put the housing back into the car.
- Remember to plug the mass air sensor back into the housing.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
