What you need
Step 1
Spark Plug
- Open the hood and prop it open using the hood prop.

- Pull the red tab out of the electrical connector and slide the connector off of the coil pack.

Step 3
- Remove the 10mm screw from the coil pack. Use the 10mm socket on the 3/8" drive ratchet to remove the screw.

Step 4
- Remove the coil pack from cylinder.

Step 5
- Loosen the spark plug completely using the 3/8" ratchet and extension with the 5/8" spark plug socket.

Step 6
- Remove the spark plug from the cylinder using the grabber tool.

Step 7
- Inspect the spark plug for blackening or other damage.

- Check the spark plug gap using the spark plug gap gauge. Make sure the gap is within desired specifications.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

its a 9/16 socket for plugs for 3v heads( 05-10 mustangs gts) other than that great guide

What about right bank, you have to take off the plemum should you disconnect the neg on battery before you restart the engine??
