Introduction
Depending on your preferences, there are many types of replacement filters available. Make sure it will fit the vehicle.
What you need
Step 1
locate the filter
- The filter housing is located behind the air intake.
- Pull both clasps holding the filter housing to the air intake.
- Push the housing back to see the filter.

Step 2
remove old filter
- Slide the old filter up and out.
- Remember the only square corner of the filter is in the left bottom side.
- Clean the immediate area of the filter housing, to make sure no dirt ends up in the engine.

Step 3
add new filter
- With the square corner at the correct position, slide the new filter in.
- Make sure the filter fits up with the backside of the air intake on all sides.

Step 4
close the filter housing
- Underneath the air filter, 2 holes have to line up with plugs on the filter housing.
- Once the underside is connected correctly, a small plastic protrustion has to line up with a corresponding guide on the air intake.
- Clip back the 2 clips, and you are done.
