Introduction
The brake light alerts other drivers of whether you are slowing down or stopping the vehicle. It is important to ensure that you have a working brake light because it is a ticketable offense and for safety reasons.
Before using this guide, make sure to turn the car off and to purchase a replacement bulb (Model: Sylvania 2357LL).
Step 1

- Open the trunk of the vehicle.

- View the side flap for whichever side has the dead bulb. (This is the left side view.)
- Pull the flap up and locate the brake light.
- The flap may need some extra force to open because the cutouts are typically not cut all the way through.

- Twist the socket counterclockwise to gain access to the brake light.

- Push down slightly and twist the bulb counterclockwise to remove the dead bulb.
- Pay attention to the protrusions located on the bottom of the bulb. You will need to align these protrusions with the socket when inserting the new bulb.

- Insert the new bulb into the socket and twist the bulb clockwise to secure it into place.
