Introduction
Before beginning this repair, turn off the car, engage the parking brake, and disconnect the battery.
What you need
Step 1
Headlight Bulb
- Pull the hood lever.

- Push the lever underneath the hood to the left.
- The lever is located in the center underneath the hood.

Step 3
- Pull up the hood.

- Insert the support rod into the slot.
- The stent is located to the right of the hood.
- The slot is located in the underside of the hood to the right.

- Pull out the connector from the bulb.
- Depending on the make of your vehicle, you may have push the tab on the connector that reads “push” before pulling out the connector.

- Twist the plastic ring out from the bulb.

- Pull out the old bulb.
- High pressure halogen gas is sealed inside the halogen bulb. The bulb may break if the glass envelope is scratched or the bulb is dropped.
- When handling the bulb, do not touch the glass envelope.

- Insert the replacement bulb.

- Twist the plastic ring back onto the bulb.
