Introduction

Driving with a tail light bulb out in your car can be dangerous and is illegal in some places. Getting pulled over or getting in an accident from this can be expensive and time consuming. Replacing a tail light bulb that has gone out is an easy fix that can help save time, money, and keep you and your family and friends safe.

Before beginning the process of replacing your tail light, inspect your vehicle to find out which light bulb has gone out. It may be time to replace multiple bulbs because many light bulbs last for around the same time.

Make sure to turn your vehicle off before you start disassembly.
