Step 1
Engine Air Filter
- In order to access the engines air filter, the hood must first be opened. To open the hood, begin by pulling the hood release latch.

- In order to get the hood fully opened after pulling the release, a small latch located between the grille and hood must be lifted up.

- Safely place the hood prop into its seat to begin working on the air filter replacement

- Locate the air filter box, which is towards the front right side of the engine bay when looking towards the front of the car.
- There are 2 retaining clips that hold the top half of the filter box to the lower half. they must be released to separate the halves.
- In order to release them place your finger on the bottom lip and press upwards until it releases, which is denoted by a snapping sound.

- After the clips have been released, Move the top half out and off to the side. The air filter can now be removed and inspected.
