Step 1

              Engine Air Filter               
  • In order to access the engines air filter, the hood must first be opened. To open the hood, begin by pulling the hood release latch.

  • In order to get the hood fully opened after pulling the release, a small latch located between the grille and hood must be lifted up.

  • Safely place the hood prop into its seat to begin working on the air filter replacement

Step 4

  • Locate the air filter box, which is towards the front right side of the engine bay when looking towards the front of the car.
  • There are 2 retaining clips that hold the top half of the filter box to the lower half. they must be released to separate the halves.
  • In order to release them place your finger on the bottom lip and press upwards until it releases, which is denoted by a snapping sound.

Step 5

  • After the clips have been released, Move the top half out and off to the side. The air filter can now be removed and inspected.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
