Introduction
It’s important to realize that 2013 Nissan Rogue is a push-to-start vehicle and in order to start the car, the key must be in close proximity. Without a functioning battery, the car will not be able to receive signals from the keyless remote to know it is in proximity to start the car.
What you need

Key Fob Battery
- Remove the key from the keyring by pulling the button on the back of the keyring from right to left while pulling the loop at the top.

- Carefully separate the back cover from the rest of the remote.
- You can use a tool to make this step easier, or you can just do it using your fingers, being very careful.

- Carefully remove the individual pieces from inside, one at a time.

- Remove the battery from the remote.
- Put the new battery into the remote and press down firmly to make sure it is secure.
- Be sure to check that your new battery matches with your old battery.
