What you need

Step 1

              Rear Windshield Wiper
  • Rear windshield wiper after 7 years, needing to be changed. Rubber blade has detached from the wiper.

Step 2

  • Remove cap by pulling on it.

  • Using a 10mm socket wrench, remove the nut.

Step 4

  • To remove the wiper arm off the wiper motor linkage, pull straight back. This will require considerable force. The wiper linkage is tapered and knurled.

Step 5

  • Remove the cap from the new wiper arm

  • Push the new wiper arm onto the wiper motor linkage and tighten the nut.

  • New rear wiper blade replaced
