Introduction

Before beginning the repair, turn off your engine and put on your emergency break.

What you need

              Headlight Bulb               
  • Pull the latch near the door panel to open the hood (inside the driver’s side of the vehicle).

Step 2

  • Locate the headlight.

Locate the headlight.

Step 3

  • Unplug the connector by pushing down on the top of the tab shown and pull it apart.
  • It should disconnect easily. If there is any resistance than you need to press the tab harder.

Step 4

  • Twist the bulb counterclockwise and pull bulb out.

Step 5

  • Align the three tabs on the new bulb to the three spaces in the housing for the headlight bulb.

Step 6

  • Insert the new bulb and twist clockwise until it clicks.
  • Avoid touching the bulb with your hands as the oil on your hands can be damaging and cause the bulb to fail prematurely.

Step 7

  • Reconnect wires to the new bulb.

Reconnect wires to the new bulb.

To reconnect the new bulb follow the instructions in reverse order as shown. If the bulb does not turn on make sure to shut off the car before attempting to fix the bulb.
