Step 1
Spark Plug
- Tug the Spark Plug Cap from the top of the Spark Plug (between the OHV housing and the exhaust manifold) with your hands to remove it.

- Make sure the engine is turned off and cool to the touch before completing this step.
- Using a ¼ “ socket and Handheld Ratchet, loosen the three screws holding the Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield on.

Step 3
- Once the Heat Shield is removed, grip the Spark Plug’s threaded diameter with an Adjustable wrench and rotate counterclockwise.
- Alternatively, you may use a 5/8" wrench or 5/8" deep socket along with a handheld ratchet.
- Remove the Champion RC12YC Spark Plug from the device.

Remove the Champion RC12YC Spark Plug from the device.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
