Introduction

Physical or logical failure of your hard disk will cause operating system crashes in your Acer Aspire 3 A315-21-92FX.  Before using this guide to replace the hard disk, make sure to check the troubleshooting page for ensuring that the problem is relative with the hard disk.

  • Please make sure that there is no external access to the battery, and the battery is out of power.
  • Flip the Acer Aspire 3 A315-21-92FX over, so the back-side is oriented to the upward position.

  • Remove the single 2.5mm Phillips #0 screw.

  • Use the iFixit opening tool to remove the cover of the hard disk.

  • Pull the hard disk out of the Acer Aspire 3 A315-21-92FX slightly and slowly.
  • This laptop is missing the hard drive.

My acer aspire 3 A315-32 says no bootable device I had tried to boot Linux from USB but I partioned the hard drive so I fixed it by changing the format and deleting everything and installed windows on a different pc but it’s still not booting even on boot options it’s not showing
