Introduction
The backplate is found on the back of the device and provides sturdy stability. The backplate ensures that the central processing unit (CPU) is securely protected.
Before using this guide, inspect the backplate and ensure it is connected to the underside of the device. Make sure the backplate is screwed securely into the device before removing it.
Before beginning, make sure to power off your device completely and disconnect from any external power source.
What you need

- Flip the lock latch to unlock battery.

- Slide the middle latch and remove the battery.

- Pry off the keyboard using the opening tool.
- Remove the two screws that are connected to the motherboard using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

- Remove all 12 screws from the backplate using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
