- Use tweezers (or a similar tool) to slide the orange push pin. To release the battery, push it to the left.

Keyboard
- Remove the two 6.0 mm screws that secure the keyboard using a Phillips head screwdriver.
- They can be easily identified by looking for the screws with the keyboard icon next to them.

- Turn the laptop over and open it.
- Use flat edged tools to gently separate the keyboard from the laptop. It should snap off with a small amount of force.
- Be sure to push the small tabs along the top of the keyboard, while lifting to successfully free the keyboard.

- Gently lift away the keyboard, making sure not to damage the data cable or the connector.
- The connection is located beneath the bottom center of the keyboard.

- Remove piece of tape that covers the connection between the data cable and the connector.

- Detach the data cable by flipping up the small black latch on the connector.
- Once the latch is lifted, the keyboard should be completely free.
