Make sure your device is unplugged from the power source . Gently turn it over, and lay it on a flat on its face.

This latch locks your battery in place, it should always be locked with the exception of replacement. Slide it horizontally to the unlock position.
Do not break this latch, otherwise your battery will not hold in place.

Step 3

Locate the latch that ejects the battery (top right corner) and push it to the left, so the battery can come out.
The battery will pull out once the latch is positioned to the left.
You DO NOT need to push on the ejecting latch when replacing the new battery, it will snap into place itself.

Step 4

Push the battery forward and it will slide out, it should come out with ease. There should be a label with the part number.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
