What you need

              Battery               
  • Unlock the battery release by sliding it to the right.

  • Slide the release button and remove the battery.

              Trackpad               
  • Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver, unscrew the ten screws securing the back panel.

  • Remove the two black connectors at the base of the screen.

  • Remove the grey keyboard cover with a spudger.

Step 6

  • Unscrew the trackpad sensor from the keyboard cover and remove the sensor.

Unscrew the trackpad sensor from the keyboard cover and remove the sensor.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
