Step 1
Battery
- Remove the twenty-five 6mm Phillips #0 screws from the bottom panel of the laptop.

- Using the plastic opening tool, lift up on the side opposite of the Ethernet connector.
- With the plastic opening tool under the bottom panel, work your way around the perimeter until the panel separates.

- Remove the two 6mm Phillips #0 screws from the battery.

- Disconnect the battery from the motherboard.
- Pull the battery up and out of the laptop.

Step 5
Hard Drive
- Remove the four 3mm Phillips #0 screws from the hard drive.
Remove the four 3mm Phillips #0 screws from the hard drive.
Step 6
- Use a spudger to flip up the retaining flap on the hard drive ribbon cable ZIF socket.
- Pull the ribbon cable out of the ZIF connector and remove the hard drive from the laptop.

Pull the ribbon cable out of the ZIF connector and remove the hard drive from the laptop.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
