What you need

Step 1

              Battery
  • Remove the twenty-five 6mm Phillips #0 screws from the bottom panel of the laptop.

  • Using the plastic opening tool, lift up on the side opposite of the Ethernet connector.
  • With the plastic opening tool under the bottom panel, work your way around the perimeter until the panel separates.

Step 3

  • Remove the two 6mm Phillips #0 screws from the battery.

Step 4

  • Disconnect the battery from the motherboard.
  • Pull the battery up and out of the laptop.

Step 5

              RAM
  • Use your fingers to spread the metal clips on the side of the RAM apart.
  • When released, the RAM will pop up and slightly out of the socket.
  • Lift the RAM to an angle of 30 degrees and slide it out of the socket.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
