  • Use a Phillips #1 screwdriver to remove all eighteen 2.12 mm screws from the back plate of your Acer Aspire.

  • Use the spudger to remove the back plate in the highlighted area to carefully pop out the back plate.

Step 3

  • Unplug the power jack from the receptor port on the motherboard, highlighted in red.
  • Remove the power jack from designated area on the side of the computer, highlighted in orange.
