Step 1

              Turn the netbook upside down               
  • With the screen closed, turn the netbook upside down on a table.

              Unlock the battery               
  • Unlock the battery by sliding the indicated lock to the right. A red indication will show it is unlocked.

Step 3

              Release and remove the battery               
  • Slide and hold the lock to the left to release the battery.
  • Pull the battery out.

Slide and hold the lock to the left to release the battery.

Pull the battery out.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

great guide. Just to add, make sure computer is powered off and that the power cord is disconnected. Remember always, safety first
