- Place the netbook bottom-side-up on a flat surface.
- Locate the unlock latch on the top right corner of the back.

- To unlock the battery, slide the lock latch in the direction indicated by the unlocking icon. You should see the orange indicator which means that the latch is unlocked.

- On the opposite side, slide and hold the release latch.

Keyboard
- Locate the three latches along the top crevice along the top rows of keys and the plastic boarder.

- Using the metal spudger, gently pry each tab releasing the keyboard. Make sure as you move to each new one that the previous one does not reset itself.

- Check for tabs on the side of the keyboard.
- If there are no tabs lift the top of the keyboard.

- Locate the sticker-like connecter on the back of the keyboard. Carefully unplug it.

- Remove keyboard.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
