- Make sure the laptop is turned off and the battery is removed.

- Use the medal spudger to press each tab. The keyboard should release.
- Slide the spudger, so that the tabs do not reset after pressing each one.

- Gently lift the keyboard up.
- The keyboard ribbon cable is still attached to the motherboard.

- Carefully unplug the connector sticker on the back of the keyboard.
- Be gentle, do not force it out.

- Remove the keyboard.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
