What you need

Step 1

              Battery               
  • Power down the netbook by pressing the power button on the top left corner.

  • Close the netbook and flip it over so that the back is facing up.

  • Slide the button below the battery to the right while simultaneously pulling the battery out.

  • If necessary, remove the old battery and replace it with a new one.

  • Check the thin grooves on the side of the battery entry and line the replacement battery up to the grooves.

              RAM               
  • Remove the screw at the bottom of the laptop.

  • Take the plastic backing plate off.

  • Unclip the two metal braces that hold the RAM in place by pushing the metal clips outwards away from the RAM itself.
  • The RAM should pop up.

  • Grab the RAM and remove slowly.

  • Take the replacement RAM stick and line up the the grooves on the RAM to the grooves on the netbook so that they will fit in flush.

  • Press down on the RAM stick and the metal clips will lock in to place.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
