- Insert a plastic opening tool under the bottom cover and slid it around the perimeter until all of the clips release.

- Use a spudger to flip up the retaining flap on the ribbon cable ZIF socket.
- Remove the ribbon cable from the socket.

- Remove the 5mm Phillips #0 screw from the USB port.
- Remove the USB port from the device.
