- Push the tab located behind the F8 key with a plastic opening tool.
- Fit a metal opening tool in between the keyboard and computer frame with the tab held.

- Lift the keyboard up with the spudger and lift along edges until the keyboard is free.

- Gently remove the keyboard power ribbon that is attached to the motherboard.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
