              Back Cover

Unplug the laptop and turn it off.
Remove the twelve 3mm screws using the Phillips #1 screwdriver.

With the hinges of the laptop pointing away from you, gently begin to pull on the portion between the two hinges towards yourself until you feel the cover pop off.
Remove the back cover from the device.

Step 3

              Battery

Using your fingers, gently disconnect the battery plug from the motherboard.
Remove the two screws using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.
Remove the battery from the device.

Using your fingers, gently disconnect the battery plug from the motherboard.

Remove the two screws using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

Remove the battery from the device.

Step 4

              Speakers

Gently peel off all of the black take that sticks down the speaker cables.
Disconnect the two ribbon cables to allow the speaker cable to be removed from underneath.
Unplug the speaker cable from the motherboard.
Using a spudger, gently remove the speakers from the device.

Unplug the speaker cable from the motherboard.

Using a spudger, gently remove the speakers from the device.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
