Introduction

If your laptop is running out of power very quickly, failing to charge, charging slowly, or not powering on at all, your battery may be damaged and require replacement. Before continuing with this guide and replacing your battery, make sure that your charger is working properly. It is possible that you are dealing with a broken charger rather than a broken battery. This guide will show you how to replace the battery in your Acer Aspire R5-571T-57Z0. Before starting this guide, make sure to power off your computer and disconnect it from any external devices. Once these steps are taken, replacing your battery will be a simple process.

What you need

              Back Panel               

• Remove twelve 4.0 mm screws from the back of the laptop using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

• Use a nylon spudger to pry open the back of the laptop and remove it.

              Battery               

• Remove the three 4.0 mm screws from the battery using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.
• Unplug the cable connected to the RAM.
• Carefully remove the battery.

Carefully remove the battery.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
