              Battery
  • Turn off the laptop and disconnect the power adapter before attempting this guide. Failure to do so can result in a shock hazard.

  • Remove the top and middle rubber feet under the laptop to reveal hidden screws.

  • Remove the five 6 mm T9 screws.
  • Remove the eight 10 mm T9 screws.

  • Remove the back cover.

  • Unplug the ribbon cable connecting the battery to the motherboard.
  • Be careful around the motherboard, as it is easily damaged.

  • Remove the three 4 mm Phillips #1 screws securing the battery.

Step 7

  • Pull open the clips on either side of the battery to free it from the case.
  • Remove the battery from the computer.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
