- Remove the top and middle rubber feet under the laptop to reveal hidden screws.

- Remove the five 6 mm T9 screws.
- Remove the eight 10 mm T9 screws.

- Remove the back cover.

- Unplug the ribbon cable connecting the battery to the motherboard.
- Be careful around the motherboard, as it is easily damaged.

- Remove the three 4 mm Phillips #1 screws securing the battery.

- Pull open the clips on either side of the battery to free it from the case.
- Remove the battery from the computer.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
