              Back Case               

• Remove the storage tray on the left edge of the device.

• Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove seventeen 7mm screws from the lower case.

• Lift up the back case to remove it.

              Battery               

• Pull the battery connector away from the hard drive to disconnect it from its socket.

• Pull the white connector toward the battery to disconnect it.
• Pull the black tape-wrapped connector toward the battery to disconnect it.

Pull the white connector toward the battery to disconnect it.

Pull the black tape-wrapped connector toward the battery to disconnect it.

Step 6

• Remove the PH #0 screw from the center of the battery.

Remove the PH #0 screw from the center of the battery.

Step 7

• Lift up the battery to remove it.
• Be careful not to bend the battery while lifting it out, as this may cause a fire hazard.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
