- Place the end of a plastic opening tool underneath the edge of the broken key.
- Gently pry up on the key until it comes loose.
- Pry carefully to make sure you do not damage any of the internal hardware while removing the keys.

- Pick up the key to remove it.
- If any debris is found underneath the key, clean it out with an air canister or cotton swab.
