- While keeping the slider pushed to the right, pull the battery out from the right side to the left until it completely comes out.

- Install the new battery with the little tabs facing the laptop. Although it is recommended to keep the slider pushed to the right when installing the new battery, it is not necessary, and it can be inserted until it clicks in place.
