              RAM Replacement
  • Completely power off the device before removing the ram.
  • Turn the device to display the back cover and remove the two Phillips #0 screws.

Step 2

  • With the screws removed, utilize a jimmy tool to prime open the back cover. Once the cover has been lifted, remove it and set it aside.

  • With two fingers push the laches holding the DIMM to the sides.
  • The DIMM will tilt up once released from the slot.
  • Firmly secure the DIMM and remove it.

Step 4

  • Follow the same process from the previous step for the second slot.

  • Insert replacement DIMM into the slot
  • Once inserted, push the DIMM down gently until it snaps into place.

  • Place cover over the ram cards.
  • Place screws back into place with a screwdriver

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order with new RAM cards.
