Introduction
Prior to beginning the repair, be sure your Chromebook is powered off and is not plugged into the wall charger.
What you need

- Place the device on a flat surface with the bottom facing upwards.

- Unscrew the eighteen 6 mm screws from bottom of the device using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

- With the plastic opening tool, pry along the edges of the bottom slowly to separate the back cover.
- Be careful not to damage or crack the back cover of the device.

- Carefully remove the back cover.

- Locate the Wi-Fi card. It will be white chip beside the motherboard.
- Remove the 3 mm screw holding the Wi-Fi card in place using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

Step 6
- Gently grab the edges of the Wi-Fi card and pull it out from the motherboard.
- Carefully remove the two coaxial antenna cables that attach the Wi-Fi card to the motherboard. One is black and the other is white.
- Have your new replacement Wi-Fi card ready to place back in the slot.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
