  • Make sure to completely turn off the device before beginning this step.
  • Use a JIS #00 screwdriver to remove the 11 screws on the underside of the laptop.
  • These 2mm screws have washers and must be placed in these specific areas.
  • The 2mm screws marked orange do not have washers and will be placed on the left and right of the device.

Step 3

  • Use the iFixit opening tool to remove the keyboard from the device by prying it loose from the base.

  • Detach the two wires that connect the Wi-Fi card to the screen.
  • The white wire will attach to the top and the black wire to the bottom.

  • Use the JIS #00 screwdriver to unscrew the single 1mm screw connecting the Wi-Fi card to the base.
  • Once the screw is removed, the Wi-Fi card will pop up.

Step 6

  • Remove the Wi-Fi card from the motherboard.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
