What you need

Step 1

              Solid State Drive               
  • Make sure the laptop is turned off and laid down on a flat surface.
  • Unscrew the 13 screws on the back of the device using a PH0 Phillips head screwdriver.
  • Use the spudger or any other prying tool to pry the back plate off of the device.
  • Be sure not to pry too hard as it may result in snapping the back plate.

Step 2

  • Remove the 3.75 mm screw with a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

Step 3

  • Pull the Solid State Drive out of the connector.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
